Artist Spotlight: Fanny Allié

“I have been working on a specific series of mixed media and found leather pieces that I glue together, and that later will be used as molds for paper casting as a part of my Workspace Residency at Dieu Donné in the Navy Yard. (www.dieudonne.org)

I don’t have much time to work during the week as I take care of my 3 year-old son. I have more time on the weekend, but I manage to do a little bit every day—which is enough to keep me sane.”
